HABC Level 1 Award in Health and Safety for Catering
Who is this qualification for?
The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety for Catering is a qualification intended for learners working catering and those who are preparing to start work in the industry.
These include an understanding of legal responsibilities, accidents, types of protective clothing, causes of fire and what to do following a fire, safe manual handling, working at height safely, different types of safety signs and the safe handling of chemicals.
Multiple-choice question examination. The duration of the examination is 30 minutes. Successful learners must achieve a score of at least 10 out of 15.
