HABC Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Manufacturing (Refresher)
Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is designed for food handlers working in a manufacturing environment. The qualification is intended for learners already working in food manufacturing who would benefit from refresher training. This qualification reinforces the responsibilities of the food handler regarding food safety and will ensure their knowledge is up to date.
Introduction to Food Safety
Microbiology (Multiplication and Survival Hazards)
Contamination Hazards and Controls
Food Poisoning and its Control
HACCP from Delivery to Distribution
Food Handlers and Personal Hygiene
Food Premises and Equipment
Food Pests and Control
Cleaning and Disinfection
Food Safety Enforcement
A multiple-choice examination or workbook. The examination will take a maximum of 1 hour to complete. Successful learners must answer at least 20 out of 30 questions correctly.
Following the assessment, a list of results will be provided to the centre contacts stating whether learners have passed or failed. Certificates for successful learners will be dispatched for distribution by the centre contacts.
