HABC Level 1 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing
Level 1 – ensures that employees from all food sectors are equipped with a knowledge of basic food hygiene to enable them to produce safe food.
Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is aimed at anyone working in a manufacturing environment, for example, in the storage, preparation, processing, packing and handling of food and those who are preparing to work in the industry.

The importance of cleaning and disinfection
A multiple-choice examination. The duration of the examination is 30 minutes. Successful learners must achieve a score of at least 10 out of 15 (a minimum pass mark of 66%).
