We know that different learners work best in different ways, that’s why we offer different learning options to help you gain the most out of our training with Horizon.
There are six different learning options:
Classroom learning takes place in a traditional classroom setting, in Huddersfield and other locations.
Classroom courses often contain a number of learners from different companies and backgrounds and can also be a great way to share knowledge, industry best practice and to network.
In-house learning takes place in a suitable location at your place of work.
In-house courses are only open to learners from your company and are a great cost-effective solution when more than one staff member needs the same training.
Blended learning takes place with a mixture of both a traditional classroom setting and e-learning.
Blended courses offer the best of both worlds, the structure of a classroom course with e-learning elements to enable the learner to work at a pace which suits them.
E-learning learning takes place solely online, although may still require an in-person examination to complete the full qualification.
E-learning courses can usually be started at any time, with the pace of learning dictated by the learner.
Qualify At Home is offered exclusively on selected Highfield courses. Highfield’s way to help you keep your training up-to-date during the coronavirus pandemic, Qualify At Home combines e-learning and e-assessments with remote invigilation.
Live Online is offered on a mixture of ISO Management Systems, NEBOSH and Highfield courses, it has all the benefits of classroom learning delivered at your convenience with Live Online training.
Learning options vary on a course by course basis, depending on the guidelines from the awarding bodies. Qualify At Home for example, is only available on selected Highfield courses. E-learning isn’t always possible as practical elements need to be undertaken as part of the course.
